About the Institute
The first non-profit institute of its kind to address the critical threats of a cyber world — focusing on the intersection of law, business, policy, and technology.
The Global Cyber Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering information security skills at the board and executive level while promoting gender and diversity awareness.
In partnership with UCLA Extension, we are developing a world-class, integrated and immersive cybersecurity program that is multi-disciplinary and diverse. Together, we are devoted to excelling in teaching, learning, research, and developing leaders who make a difference globally.
Our objective is to provide a conceptual framework for the design of cybersecurity policy and technology to leading technologists, corporate executives, and policymakers worldwide — transforming education by teaching participants, hands-on, how to solve cybersecurity problems and empowering them to make informed decisions.
We extend this work through conferences, webinars, and executive education on cybersecurity, while promoting diversity and gender equality across the field. Our curriculum increasingly addresses emerging threats such as deepfakes and AI-generated content, drawing on dedicated synthetic media education resources to keep leaders ahead of the curve.
The Institute’s programming is informed by the practitioners behind Law & Forensics, a legal engineering firm working at the intersection of law, technology, and digital evidence.
